We LOVE Border Collie's! They are great herding dogs and delightfull companions. And a little crazy with lots of energy! There are two Border Collies that roams Churutabis Farm. The bitch is Crystal and she comes from a long line of herding dogs out of Lacy 's Border Collie Farm in Virginia. We kept one of Crystal's puppies from a breeding to a male from Anne Devine's Eyespy border collies in Connecticut. His name is Ume. The two dogs are working dogs and part of the family. Both our Border Collie are registered with American Border Collie Association
This is their story...
| Crystal when we got her in 2003 and in 2005. We bred Crystal to Celt (right). She had a few puppies in 2006, showing two below, one of which stayed on. Ume is on left.
He is still around. Rhaxma on right visits occasionally, but lives in NYC with his new family.
Sadly, Crystal died June 2019 at 15 years old. Her puppy Ume is still with us but also getting very grey and having an "old dog bark" now and not as energetic as before. Rhaxma passed away early in 2020 as well.
