We raise Kune-Kune pigs. This is a unique heritage breed of pig, distinguished by smaller size and the fact that they graze on grass with only minimal rooting activity. Hence it is easier to pasture them than with most other breed of pig, as they do not destroy the fields by rooting.
Here is our current herd sire boar, Pumba. Despite the ferocious look, he is quite docile and friendly and will flop down for a belly rub. He is a Mahia Love bloodline and registered via both registries: American KuneKune Pig Society and also American KuneKune Pig Registry. Here is his full pedigree via AKKPS and via AKPR registries.
We breed with several sows. Here are the details of a few of them.
This is Sabra, a Rona bloodline sow, with full pedigree via AKPR and via AKKPS registries.
This is Edelweiss, a Jenny bloodline sow, with full pedigree via AKPR and via AKKPS registries.
